About This Item

Akron, Ohio: Saalfield, 1928. Listed as part of Saalfield's "Girls Detective Series," Number 3632, this copy is in Fine condition with a Very Good+ dust jacket (click on photo). The story concerns two orphaned sisters, each separated at infancy, one raised in a wealthy household and the other, on a farm, with loving but common parents. The book is bound in a wovern burgundy cloth with black titles on front panel and spine. The binding is tight and the pages are clean, but with some age toning. The dust jacket has several tears, repaired on the reverse with non-acidic tape, and placed into a Brodart protective sleeve. The book measures 5 1/2 by 8 1/8 inches and includes 310 pages. . Hard Cover. Fine/Very Good+. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
