An attractive copy, still the most important research for the Spanish missions that were located in Georgia--83 years later. The book, covered with a tweed looking cloth over boards and a silver monk outlined on the front (title on spine in silver gilt), is tight and square with sharp corners and no apparent wear. The endpapers are color pictures of the Mission of Santa Maria. The pages are clean and bright, some of the pages are untrimmed. This is the autographed edition and is limited to five hundred and twenty-five copies, five hundred which were sold. John Tate Lanning signed this copy, number 215. The map is present in this copy, in very good shape with a small tear that was repaired with scotch tape. The Dust Jacket is complete, with a few chips missing around the top of the jacket and the head and heel of the spine. There is a "Signed" label…
