New York: Dodd, Mead & Co, 1949. A Shavian autobiography by the man who refused to write his autobiography. An uncommon title by one of the greatest authors of the XXth century. This is a Near Fine copy of the First Edition. Bright red cloth binding with gilt lettering (reproduction of GBS signature on front cover). Clean and fresh text; 207 pages. There is a very slight lean, else Fine. The dustjacket is complete, but has been clipped. Some surface soiling , a small closed tear, and small chips on the spine, else Very Good. In a plastic protector. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. First Edition.. Hard Cover. Near Fine/Very Good Minus.
