Washington, D.C.: R. Beresford, Printer, 1877. Paperback. Very Good. 27 p.: tables; 23 cm. Plain wrapper with black wrapper title. The Children's Hospital of the District of Columbia opened in 1870; it is now known as Children's National Hospital. Contains names of directors, physicians, hospital administration, staff, and lady visitors; the address by president Samuel V. Niles; and the report by the Board of Hospital Administration, which includes data on number of patients by gender and race; statistics on diseases treated and operations performed; finances; and a list of contributors. Scarce. In Very Good Condition: wrapper is slightly dusty; minor loss at head of spine; very faint damp stain at lower edges of pages; otherwise, clean and solid.
