Includes a detailed CHRONOLOGICAL TABLE , from the Creation of the World to 1453 and the fall of Constantinople. 336 Pages, 8 3/4" Tall. No Maps as this volume contains text only (A seperate Atlas would have been used). Some edge wear and rubbing to boards. 2 small closed tears to leather at spine ends (1" lomg, at sides). Previous owner's name, dated 1839, on Endpaper with some penciled notes on ffep & an occasional penciled marginal note. Penciled drawings of flowers on rear endpaper. Pages in very good condition except for 10 pages which have some dark brown burn marks (probably from a fallen candle or cigar (mostly in margins but 2 small patches on text with a tiny hole in one page (see photos.
