Macmillan & Co, 1865. Book. Good. Hardcover. Reprinted from the "Pall Mall Gazette". First edition bound on its own. Bound in red cloth covers with gilt titles to front (possibly not original binding as no titles to spine). Corners bumped. Some rubbing, tanning and a few paint marks to spine. Pencil inscription to title page. Opposite to this is a further inscription "Cosmo Gordon given me by Stephen Gaselee". Small annotation to last endpaper. 144pp + 22pp of adverts..
