New York: Harper & Brothers Publishers Book. Very Good. Hardcover. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Hardcover, dark blue cloth with spine lettered and decorated in gold. Top edge gilt. 424 pages. Volume XIX [of 25] in the National Author's Edition of Twain's Writings. Illustrated with frontispiece and two full page plates by F.B. Opper. Circa 1909. No previous ownership marks. Book block untrimmed with some pages roughly opened along bottom edge at binder. A clean, tight and unmarked copy. Very good. .
