Rebacked in green cloth, boards worn and chipped to edges. 64 pages with attractive chromolithographs. Light marking to pages. Tear runs 7cm across page 43/44, creasing and wear to edges of page 49/50 and page 61/62. Gift inscription to front free endpaper, dated Xmas 1882. Previous owner's name plus address stamp to front pastedown endpaper. From the private library of Richard Adams, author of Watership Down, with his bookplate to front pastedown endpaper.
