New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1968. Bound in the publishers red cloth boards with elaborate gilt and black title lettering to spine. The 483 pages are in excellent condition with no marks or inscriptions and are squarely bound. The all important "A" is present on the reverse side of the title page which denotes the first edition. Double matching olive green endpapers to front and rear of book. Housed in the distinctive dustwrapper which retains publishers printed price on front inside flap. Light creasing and signs of handling mainly to the edges otherwise the dustwrapper is in near fine condition. Protected by removeable plastic sleeve. The photograph supplied is a picture of the book and dustwrapper and we are happy to send more images on request. A nice example of the scarce First American Edition.. First Edition. Fine/Near Fine. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. FIRST EDITION.
