About This Item
New York: A.L. Burt Co., 1925. Same Year Reprint . Cloth. Very Good Plus/Good Plus. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Better than Very Good book in a tattered, but essentially complete, scarce jacket. See scans and description. New York: A.L. Burt, 1925. Reprint, in the same year as the Cosmopolitan first edition. 12mo, illustrated dustjacket, black cloth boards, gilt front cover imprinting and spine imprinting, 311 pp. Pictorial dustjacket is of the full wrap-around type, with the illustration continuing to the back, a scarce format at that time. The male adventurer of the pair shown has a rather Liam Neeson-y look, though of course this was painted before his birth. Maybe he should do a movie of it now. What actress does the woman look like ? Book shows wear to gilt, small slit at spine top, age toning to page edges. Very Good Plus. Jacket is tattered at top and bottom edges, good plus. See all scans. A classic Marshall wilderness romance - adventure, set in the Aleutian Range, the Katmai region, and the Valley of Ten Thousand Smokes in Alaska. Scarce in the wraparound jacket. Ships in a new, sturdy, protective box - not a bag. L21
