This is the first book issued by the Scorpion Press in 1991. Richard Richardson was then chair of the Crime Writer's Association. This his fifth book and a detective story with his series character Gus Maltravers. He is rather like Lord Peter Wimsey. The edition is one of 15 for private distribution such as the authors etc. The binding is superior to the ordinary signed limited run if numbered copies. It is signed by Robert Richardson and Robert Barnard - who wrote the Appreciation.
