Author and illustrator have signed and inscribed front flyleaf. Author was born and raised in Seattle where she graduated from the University of Washington. In the early fifties she and her husband moved to a small island, Pylades, located in the Strait of Georgia, British Columbia. These stories describe her feelings for the beauty of that world, interwoven with the people and creatures who inhabit it. She now resides on Vancouver Island and is a Canadian citizen. Light wear. Nice copy.
