A charming little tome in brown pictorial cloth with two small spots of fading to spine where chips to jacket appear. Previous owner's name to top of front pastedown. Spot of soiling to top of rear panel with chips to spine of jacket as mentioned, spine bottom and top edge which is due to jacket being too large for the book. Additionally, 3/4 closed tear to bottom of front panel near spine.

Pages are mostly clean overall, with moderate tanning throughout. Previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper. Illustrations are bright and clear, with some light tanning and foxing to edges. Thumb-marking present throughout. Boards have slight edge wear with corner bumping. Mild tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Book is slightly warped. Unclipped jacket. Panels have heavy edge wear with chips, tears and creasing. Small area of loss to edges. Black marks overall.
