Item Is in VERY GOOD condition with some normal minor shelf wear for a vintage book.The pages inside are pristine with no highlighting, marks, or writing; no dog earing or bent pages. There is no dust jacket. The black hard-back boards are in VERY GOOD condition with no scratches, dents, or tears; there are some minor scuffs on the back cover, but they blend in with the background. It has minimal fraying along the crown and foot of the spine, but all is minor. The library binding is tight and sound-no loose pages. There is a blacked-out name inside the cover on the first page (Please see pictures). Overall in VERY GOOD condition.
Classic literature from Paul Gallico, set during WW II and the battle of Dunkirk. Recommended.
Synopsis
Paul Gallico was born in New York in 1892. He became a minor celebrity as a sports writer and then began writing short stories for magazines. Gallico went on to write many more short stories and novels, including The Poseidon Adventure in 1969. He died in 1976.
