Sub-titled, "A Social and Intellectual History of the American People Through 1865. 612 pp. Tight copy with blue cloth boards and gilt print and design. Minor wear on hinges and bumping on corners and spine ends. Previous owner's name and address in ink on front free end paper. Old price in red is marked through in pencil on upper corner of same page. Slight cupping to boards. Pages are slightly age yellowed. No dust jacket.
