London: Hildesheimer & Faulkner Book. Illus. by J. Clayton Clark (Kyd). Very Good. Gatefold Cover. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Red leather with dentilled edges on boards. Original DJ has been trimmed and mounted on third free endpaper. All edges gilt. The text consists of 16 selections from various Dickens stories which serve to describe and introduce certain characters, mounted verso. The described characters are mounted recto in full color. Laid in is a full-size 1913 color drawing by Frank Reynolds of the Cheeryble Brothers, who are featured in Nicholas Nickleby..
