New York: Sheed & Ward, 1946. First Edition . Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Gedge Harmon. (viii), 191pp. Beautifully inscribed by author to front free endpaper thus: "For Mother Mary of the Immaculate Heart, O.P., with greetings and good wishes - Sincerely, Mary Fabyan Windeatt. Christmas 1946." With nice black and white line illustrations. Ex-library volume, with tiny, hand-written call letters to spine and call letters in pencil to first page. Several small bumps to extremities of volume, with light wear in places on exterior, and a little heavier wear in a few places, such as head and tail of spine and corners of boards. A little fading to cloth. Aside from penciled call letters and lovely author inscription in ink to first page, no markings to interior. SCARE inscribed copy
