Inscribed by author on front free endpaper. Book in good condition with moisture stains to cover, two small shelf-dents to top of book, corners nudged, pages slightly rippled, tidelines (moisture wrinkling) throughout. Text is unmarked. Binding sound.

Contains several songs about the Sierra Mountains, as well as illustrations throughout the book. With introduction by John Hale Constance.
