About This Item
Dublin: Browne and Nolan, Ltd., 1898. First Edition. First edition. Hardback. Portrait frontispiece pasted down to the front end paper (looks as if this is to hide a gift inscription to the verso of the end paper). Inside front board there is a label from the Library of Syon Abbey, Chudleigh, Devon. Four plates. Original blue printed and bevelled cloth, uncut, leaf-patterned end papers, a bit of foxing to the ends, else a very good copy. vii, (i), 160 pp.
