New York: The Press of the Pioneers, 1934. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. Signed by Author(s). First edition, inscribed by author on front endpaper. Hardcover, full orange cloth binding with gilt lettering and decoration to front cover and spine, orange and blue silhouette dust jacket. Faint wear to tips, owner's name to front endpaper is only real flaw. DJ shows some dulling and moderate edgewear. Narrative Oregon history, partly drawn from oral history, including descendants of Daniel Boone.
