[4p] b&w frontis-portrait of Golden, excerpts from letters, dedication, history of the production, foreword, the John Golden Formula, illustrations, b&w production stills including scenes from other John Golden productions, previous owner's name on inner cover, light wear, rust from staples bleeding through inner hinges, paperback in gray pictorial wraps. The play ran for 704 performances after opening in 1922. It was filmed in 1927 starring Janet Gaynor who won the very first Best Actress Award at the first Oscars in 1929.
