London, 1922. Very good condition. Souvenir booklet for the highly popular London missionary exhibition held at the Royal Agricultural Hall in Islington in 1922. These shows were heavily attended; Africa and The East required 500 ticket secretaries to process the demand and in this 1922 exhibition, 250,000 visitors attended. These large London events ran for an entire month. With 8 b&w printed photographic illustrations. Images are captioned, and include: General View of C.M.S. "Africa & the East" Exhibition; In the African Village; The Indian Street; Indian Outcaste (sic) Village; In the Mission Hospital; Foochow Blind Boys Band; In the Chinese Street; and A Jinricksha Ride in the Japanese Village. Gray printed wrappers, with b&w illustration at front wrapper, and advertisement for Church Missionary Society at rear wrapper, boasting "44,280 baptisms in 1921". Perforated edges for easy opening. 6 1/4 x 4 1/2"
