First edition; 13 3/4 x 10 1/2; pp. [5], 6-63, [5]; chromolithographed wraps; illustrated with chromolithographs and black & white drawings; wraps detached, with chipping to edges, else text block and illustrations clean and complete; in fair to good condition. A rare publication, celebrating the bi-centenial of the founding of the City of Albany, New York, it was created by publisher, printer, and Whig and Republican politician Thurlow Weed Barnes (1853 - 1918).
