Shanghai: Denniston & Sullivan, 1908. Book. Illus. by 450 black & white photos. Near Fine. Hardcover. 1st Edition. Oblong 8 Vo. Oblong brown cloth with a bright title in light green surrounded by a dragon on the front cover. Profuse early photos from all over China. Very clean and tight inside, with English captions on all the photos.. No stains or browning or foxing. Title and publishing data in Chinese on the last page. The spine has been neatly and professionally repaired. Quite a rare volume, with only one other copy in England on the internet at this writing. .
