About This Item
New York: Harcourt Inc, 2002. Uncorrected Proof. Original wraps. Near Fine. 6 X 9 Inches. 357 PP. Stated "Uncorrected Proof" on the front panel. Signed by Mercury Astronaut Scott Carpenter directly on the front cover. Carpenter was one of the original Mercury Astronauts, memorialized forever by author Tom Wolfe in his "The Right Stuff." While copies of this book signed by Carpenter are not difficult to find, the uncorrected proofs are incredibly scarce.
