About This Item
T. Nelson and Sons, 1887. Good. The 1887 reprint. 8vo, pp. 298, (6) adverts + b/w frontis and plates. Original blue cloth with gilt lettering and blind/black embossed designs to spine and upper board. Rubbed and lightly soiled, extremities worn and bruised. Edges spotted. Patterned endpapers browned, prize inscription (1896) to ffep. Occasional spotting, else clean. Tucker was a prolific author of didactic tales, who later became a missionary in India.
