First Edition. Illustrated. One of the ground-breaking books on Spanish dancing, describing the different techniques. La Meri [1899-1988] was the founder and director of the famous Ethnological Dance Center in New York City and was widely known as a concert Spanish dancer. Signed presentation from La Meri on the front endpaper: "To Stanley Corta (Costa?), La Meri." With the recipients name on the half-title page & a tiny label from the Kamin Dance Bookshop on the verso of the front endpaper. Near fine (contents clean & tight); little edgewear (few short tears, small chip base of rear cover) d/j. $150.00.
