[Washington: Patent Office Branch Print, 1878]. Facsimile reprint by Armory Publications, Tacoma Washington, 1986. . Hardcover. Near Fine. Large quarto, navy cloth. Extensive text, reprinting various patents, with diagrams. "the copy from which this facsimile reprint was reproduced was owned by Herschel C. Logan author of CARTRIDGES, the first book on the subject. Mr. Logan's bookplate is reproduced on the inside front cover with his permission. The book was amongst the titles in the library of the late Frank Wheeler, first editor of the cartridge column in the Gun Report, and his bookplate is also preserved [i.e. reprinted] in this edition" Near fine. A large heavy volume, which may necessitate a request for further postage, depending on order destination or speed.
