Description:
Washington DC: Gideon & Co, 1846. First Edition. Sewn binding. Very good. Octavo, 33pp. A clean, very good copy in the original sewn wraps, though lacking much of the spine and the entire rear wrap. Still a sound, clean example, just a tinge foxed. A speech regarding congressional proposals to pursue land/property claims by American citizens against the French government for property illegally siezed by the French prior to 1800. Apparently missed by Sabin.
