About This Item

A limited edition of 2000 hand-bound copies, signed by both David Bowie and photographer Masayoshi Sukita to celebrate their 40-year collaboration. This copy is number 1888 out of 2000. The book acts as an illustrated narrative of Bowie's career between 1972 to 2009. Included is iconic as well as previously unseen images of the singer taken on over 40 occasions.

Sukita shot arguably the most iconic photo of Bowie, being the cover shot for his 1977 album "Heroes". Photos range from: backstage with Lou Reed in 1972, shots from Iggy Pop's 30th birthday, The 1978 World Tour and various scenes of Bowie in Japan. Additionally there is 7" vinyl picture disc of 'It's No Game' parts 1 and 2 which features two portrait photographs from the iconic "Heroes" photo sessions.
