David White Company, New York, 1964. First edition, second printing. Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust jacket condition: Good. 623 pp. Text clean, white and unmarked. No prior owner attribution. Book club edition as indicated by punched imprint on lower right edge of back cover. Dust jacket is price clipped, has several chips along top and bottom edges and small water stain at lower front hinge. Illustrated throughout by Jo Spiers with full color and b/w drawings. Foreward by Helen Judy Bond who writes: "THE SPICE COOKBOOK will be treasured by every family and will be handed down from generation to generation. In years to come, Grandmother's SPICE COOKBOOK will not be found stored away in the attic. With well-worn pages between dog-eared covers, it will be used by the fortunate grand-daughter who inherited it."
