Schippach, Pa. [Skippack, Pa.]: Johann M. Schünemann, 1853. Hardcover. Good. 114 p.; 16 cm. Brown cloth with gilt-stamped cover title; blind-stamed decoration on both boards. Green endpapers. This work by Mennonite Heinrich Funck was first published in Germantown, Pa., in 1744. Johann M. Schünemann was active in the 1850s in Skippack, Pa., (known variously as Schippach or Skippackville at the time), printing for the German-speaking Mennonite and Schwenckfelder communities. His edition of Funck's work on baptism is very scarce. In Good Condition: cover is soiled and dampstained; small loss at upper edge of each free endpaper; faint dampstain throughout, primarily at ends of gutter; foxing thorughout; otherwise, clean and tight.
