Stated "uncorrected proof copy" on front cover, with no date printed in text. Solid text block, unopened pages, a near fine example. Edges of text block have some wear, one small puncture to front cover, faint toning to top edge. A rare edition of this popular author's writing. William Golding (1911-1993) was a famous British writer, best known for his first novel Lord of the Flies.
Synopsis
Dean Jocelin is a man driven.
