London: John Murray (Publishers), 1981. 1st Edition. Red Boards. Near Fine/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Illustrated. 235pp. A super copy of this first editon in wrapper. Numerous b/w plates illustrate the text. Gilt embossed lettering to the spine. Slight bump to the head of the spine with slight rubbing to the overlying wrapper. Fresh and clean. Dust wrapper not price clipped with light rubbing to the tail of the wrapper. There is a 1 cm tear to the tail of the front panel of the wrapper, previously repaired with neat paper square to the reverse of the wrapper with a little assciated creasing. A near fine copy in very good condition.
