Leather bound with gilt titling to spine and cover with gilt pictorial of two hunters on cover, all edges gilt, marbled endsheets. The Deluxe Volume published in a Limited Edition of 450 copies. Number 151/450. Fine condition. Slip case in white/gray cloth shows shelf wear and light soiling. Very Good condition.
Arthur Burdett Frost was an artist who drew and painted sporting scenes. "He is not only known for his prodigious output but for the consistently high quality of his art. The images cover many fields, but his painting of hunters and their gun dogs rank among his most noteworthy works.".
