Fuller. Anthologizes some of Foote's best writing on the love of hunting and fishing. Dogs appear in "Dog Upon the Waters" (setter Myrtle), "Old Joe" (setters), "Lily Belle Gets the Air" (pointer), and "The Blighting of Jeptha" (setters make a brief appearance). Also included are "The Diver Does His Stuff" (fishing), "My First Depression" (cockfighting), "The Fall of Mr. Barnstople," and "The Diver Takes to Pinochle." 1st edition. Signed and dated by the author on free endpaper. Fair to good condition (some wear and discoloration on boards; text clean but faintly browned), in fair to good dust jacket (price clip; small chips and tears) in Mylar.
