Spotting to bottom of textblock near spine. Another (ownership?) inscription reading "William E. _?_ / Quarter Minus" on front free endpaper. Opens easily and creakily between gatherings, but binding is still secure. Pages unmarked.

First novel by the longtime screenwriter.
