London: John Lane, The Bodley Head, 1929. Second printing, same year as the first. With personalized inscription signed by the author on the front free endpaper and with a recipe for homemade gin (this was Prohibition era) in the author's hand, also signed by the author, laid in loosely at the front. Tan linen-like cloth printed in blue, no dustjacket. The book is in generally good condition with a black curved marking on the front cover, slightly darkened spine, good hinges, sound text block, scattered very light foxing (age speckling) throughout, no other marking.. Signed and with Letter By Author. Hard Cover. Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
