New York: Holiday House, 1991. Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. Jeni Bassett. Signed by Author(s). Inscribed by Kroll on half-title page. Spine in red cloth with gilt lettering; pumpkin-colored sides with blind stamped title on front. Top corner of front boards very slightly bumped. Reinforced binding edition. Interior is clean and crisp. Dust jacket shows faint handling, crease on front flap; in an archival mylar sleeve. A brother and sister squirrel appreciate each other more after being exposed to their really naughty cousins at Thanksgiving diner. Steven Kroll (1941-2011) was a prolific author of popular children's books, several of which were illustrated by Jeni Bassett.
