New York: Farrar & Rinehart, 1942. Book. Illus. by A.Y. Jackson. Very Good. Hardcover. Signed by Author(s). Third Printing.. The DJ is price clipped, "Third Large Printing" noted on the flap. Signed and inscribed by the author on the half-title page, "Very faithfully yours, Henry Beston" and below "Day of the Rocket" is written in Beston's hand. The signature page has some blots of ink from apparently the same pen, not affecting the signature or inscription. This is part of The Rivers of America Series, Beston was most famous for The Outermost House. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
