Black card covers with silver stamping on spine and front cover. Textblock in sewn gatherings, the whole stab-bound with silk thread.
Cover is erratically chipped around edges and cracking at stab binding-though still holding as of this writing. Untrimmed pages are unmarred and unmarked with the exception of a small oval stamp, in blue ink, on verso of title page, and the first owner's stamped name on front free endpaper.
All illustrations finely printed on stiff card-of which the stiffness probably necessitated the stab binding. A nostalgic look back at how Bostonians went from here to there and back again.
