About This Item
New York: W. W. Norton & Company, (1993). First edition of this Lamont Poetry Prize-winner. Presentation copy, inscribed by Warren to Pulitzer Prize-winning author Peter Taylor and his wife, the poet Eleanor Taylor on the half-title page: "for Eleanor and Peter / in lifelong affection / Rosanna May 1993". Warren has corrected one word and supplied a comma in the text of the poem "The Broken Pot". The Warren and Taylor families were longtime friends, as is reflected in Warren's inscription; the Taylors would likely have known Rosanna Warren since her birth. Very fine copy. 8vo, original cloth, dust jacket. Very fine copy.
