About This Item

Boulder, CO: self-published, 1949. 3rd printing. Cloth. Very good. Large 4to. Publisher's cloth. Many illustrated plates by Wolle throughout. 544 pp.
Ex-library, but only indications are an unobtrusive mark on spine, bookplate on front free endpaper, and card pocket on rear free endpaper. Sunning to spine, leaving title quite faded. Hinges overopened. Signed by author on title page. Tight and clean, an excellent copy.
This is a scarce volume about defunct mining towns in Colorado, written and illustrated by artist and historian Wolle (1898-1977).
