Oblong oversized hardcover in olive green cloth stamped in gilt. 102 pp. with bibliography. index. Eight tipped in color reproductions of 19th century vessels, vintage photographs, drawings and reproductions, and one tipped in folding plate. Fine in near fine color dust jacket, small nick bottom edge of the front panel. Lavishly illustrated look at the 19th century steamboat era on the Jersey Shore and rivers and bays in Monmouth County. Divided into three sections: the Bayshore area, Up River, and the Outside Run.
