Blue printed dust jacket, black cloth covered boards with a facsimile of Steinbeck's signature on the top board. The letters cover Steinbeck's entire writing career. They create a path to follow the development of his style, and growth as an author. They also highlight his willingness to experiment. This was a review copy. Laid in is a 5" x 3 1/2" yellow card with information of the Canadian distributor. The price-clipped jacket has light edge wear.
