A retelling of the 'Stepmother' motif by the English playwright / poet, children's author (1876 - 1970), best known for her play Rutherford and Son. Written in 1924, the play was unearthed , rescued from obscurity & performed at the Shaw Festival in 2008. Intro by Jackie Maxwell. 143 pages.
