About This Item
New York: Atlantic Monthly Press, 1990. First Edition. Hardcover. Good +/very good. Octavo, 355pp. A well-read copy, good or better, in the publisher's tan boards with black cloth spine. Spine cocked, general rubbing to extremities, and the page block with some wear along the edges. Contents clean and sound. In a very good dust jacket with mild edgewear. This copy SIGNED and warmly INSCRIBED by Dodge on the front free endpaper: "For Bonnie & Cynthia, To my dear & quiet neighbors, with warmest regards. Jim Dodge." This genre-bending novel was well-regarded by no less a figure than Thomas Pynchon, whose blurb on the back panel reads: "Here is American storytelling as tall as it is broadly imagined and deeply felt, exuberant with outlaw humor and honest magic. Reading 'Stone Junction' is like being at a nonstop party in celebration of everything that matters." Pynchon would go on to write anIntroduction to the 1998 edition. Uncommon signed.

About Cleveland Book Company
We are proud members of the ABAA.
As a small, independent bookseller in Cleveland, Ohio, I deal in general used, rare, and antiquarian books, autographs, manuscripts, pamphlets, and personal and family papers in all subjects. My family has been in the antiquarian book business since 1971. Are you moving, downsizing, or doing some spring cleaning? Did you inherit or otherwise come into some old books? Or, maybe you've collected modern novels from the last thirty or fifty years. No matter what kinds of books you have, we'd love to take a look at them! We travel throughout Ohio, western Pennsylvania and New York, southern Michigan, and eastern Indiana, and will travel farther in some cases to look at whole libraries or even just a few particularly interesting books. Give us a call at (216) 352-3940 and we can talk more about the kinds of books you have.
