Previous owner's embossed stamp to lower edge of half-title page at volume one and to title page of both volumes, and faint red underlining to a some words throughout. Pages of volume two clean and unmarked. All edges gilt, orange moire silk endpapers, and gold silk bookmarker attached and intact. Light scuffing to gilt at all edges. Boards are clean and bright with bumping to corners. Binding is tight and square.
