Stapled to the leaflet is a handwritten letter from one of the organizers, describing recent events in the campaign. Penciled note at bottom, "From Spring Offensive Committee, Killeen, Texas July 1971." Accuses the local jewelry store chain, with branches in Army towns, of running a rip-off scheme with two years of payments. "And that's exactly what the army wants! As long as we are in debt, they can keep us in their grip, and stop us from fighting their harassment, their lies, and their war.
