First edition, first printing indicated by full print number line and stated First Edition. Binding is tight, and book appears never to have been read. Slight rubbing at top of spine & 5 tiny spots along edge. There is a small neat gift inscription on upper right hand FEP in black ink. Jacket has a small chip/tear at top of spine & chipping/wear at bottom edge and corners, small closed tears along top edge, tiny chips on top/bottom corners of front panel. Color of front cover panel and back cover is bright. Jacket inside flap is not price clipped and shows original price of $10.95
Book is inscribed and signed boldly in black felt pen by author on title page below his printed name: "May the good stories be true-" Bill Stafford Feb, '79. The words "good" and "be" are underlined in the inscription. A very nice copy.
Stafford was the Poet Laureate of the State of Oregon.

A full refund of the purchase price, minus postage costs, will be provided if the seller is notified within 5 days of receipt and the book is returned within 10 days of receipt in the original condition. I prefer to ship international orders by air because of delays and other issues that can frequently occur. I will refund postage overages, after shipping and insurance costs are calculated and confirmed. I do not charge for packing materials or handling.
